British International School of the Year – Entry Form
This award is for the British International school which most clearly demonstrates that it provides its students with a vibrant and life-enhancing experience, drawing on the values embedded in a British education. The school can be of any size and cater for any academic level; what matters is that the school can demonstrate clearly that the students grow and develop through access to an innovative and meaningful British educational programmes and a cohesive ethos.
Judges will be looking for something special – for the school to be going above and beyond in providing for its students, and will expect to see this passion for the British student experience in how it narrates its story and draws them into the life of the school
For the purpose of this award a British International school is a school in membership of COBIS, situated anywhere in the world other than the UK.
The entry should:
- Successfully communicate the core characteristics, energy, culture and values of the educational provision as well as the structures and initiatives which have allowed them expression.
- Explain how the student experience in the school has been enriched by its commitment to British school values
- Demonstrate the sustainability and impact of the activities described on the life of the school
