Independent School of the Year for Outstanding Educational Partnerships – Entry Form

Our judges would like you to tell them the story of educational partnerships in your school during 2023-24; share your pride in where you work and explain why the students in your care benefit from innovative educational partnerships. Give us some examples of what you are describing and share any data which supports your entry (but please avoid lists!). Most of all, give us a sense of the place of your educational partnerships programme in your school community as it would appear to our judges if they were lucky enough to walk through your doors.

These are the key questions to answer in your entry: please make sure your entry focuses on your educational partnerships programme rather than on the wider life of the school.

  • Why do you think the educational partnerships programme your school operates is special? What is it about your school’s educational partnership programme which makes it stand out from other schools? What are the particular partnerships which have benefited one or more different schools – as well as your own – which make it worthy of this award? (Circa 200 words)
  • How has your 2023-24 educational partnerships programme been successfully and cohesively embedded in the life of your school? Tell us about any particular partnership initiatives which the school undertook this year of which you are especially proud.   (Circa 150 words)
  • What is the positive impact of your school’s educational partnerships programme within your school, the local community and wider society? How do you think your partnership programme has helped prepare your students for adult life in 21st century society. (Circa 150 words.)
