Independent School of the Year for Outstanding Educational Partnerships – Entry Form

Our judges are keen to hear the story of your educational partnerships over the course of 2025–26. This isn’t about dry agreements filed away in a folder; it’s about living, breathing collaboration. Tell us why you’re proud of your school and how your partnerships are opening doors—not just for your own pupils, but for others too. Bring it to life with telling examples and a dash of hard evidence where it matters (but do resist the temptation to reel off a list). Above all, help us picture it: if our judges were lucky enough to step through your front doors, how would they see these partnerships at work in the classrooms, corridors and wider community?

These are the questions your entry should address. Keep the focus squarely on your educational partnerships programme, rather than the broader story of the school.

  • Why is your educational partnerships programme so distinctive?
What makes your programme stand out from the crowd? Which partnerships—particularly those that have benefited other schools as well as your own—make it deserving of this award? (Around 200 words.)
  • How has your 2025–26 partnerships programme been woven seamlessly into the fabric of school life?
Tell us about the initiatives this year that you’re especially proud of and how they’ve brought collaboration to life. (Around 150 words.)
  • What tangible difference has your educational partnerships programme made?
Consider its impact within your own school, across partner schools, in the local community and beyond. How has it helped prepare your students for adult life in a fast-moving 21st-century world? (Around 150 words.)
