Independent School of the Year for Student Well-Being – Entry Form
This award is for the school which most successfully convinces the judges that the promotion of student well-being sits at the heart of its ethos and informs and underpins the life of the whole-school community.
The judges will be interested to learn how the school supports the mental and physical well-being of its students, promotes a positive approach and an inclusive culture and delivers constructive interventions where need is identified. The school’s approach to supporting the positive mental health of its students and the impact this has on vulnerable students’ confidence and sense of self-worth will be of particular interest.
The entry should:
- Successfully communicate the core characteristics, energy, culture and benefits of the school’s student well-being programme as well as the structures and initiatives which underpin its delivery
- Explain how the student experience in the school has been enriched
- Demonstrate the sustainability and long term impact of the activities described on the wider life of the school community
