Rising Star of the Year – Entry Form
This award is given to a student currently being educated in a UK independent school or British International School, or who has recently left, who has achieved signal success in any aspect of their life and school career.
Candidates for the award must be nominated by their school and each entry must be supported by a testimonial from their Head Teacher with any necessary agreement from the student concerned and their parents or guardians.
The judges will be interested to learn how candidates may have overcome adversity or materially exceeded normal expectations for their background and age. This may, but will not necessarily, include national or international success in a particular field or some other service or contribution which has had a quantifiably positive impact on their school and/or the wider community.
The entry should:
- Narrate and contextualise the achievement of the nominated student
- Demonstrate how the school has helped and supported the nominee to achieve what they have achieved
- Explain the impact the nominees’ achievement has had on the school as a whole and the wider student experience
